Imitation albaster column

I painted this column in the hall of the Hotel Reina Isabel in Avila. Next to it one can see an altarpiece.  I was commissioned by the client to copy the column of this altarpiece but a few shades lighter. In the same hotel I also marbled lots of other columns and cornices and wood grained others. This job is executed in oil colour on a white satin finish white eggshell paint and protected when finished with two coats of eggshell varnish.
