Marbled and guilded cornice

I painted a very faint fantasy marble in this home, as the red of the wall is very dominant at it was not a question of overdoing it, because the client also wanted to pick out parts of the mouldings  by guilding them. This I did with transfer gold metal leaf applied with oil gold size over red acrylic bole. I applied a coat of finishing varnish over the whole thing.
