Resin planter

I first applied a special primer so the paint would hold on this resin planter, then I antiqued it in light raw umber, after which I painted the center panel freehand with the lions and the trompe l´oeil carvings on the sides. It was all done with acrylic paint. Finally I protected it all with two layers of varnish.
